AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Internet community is always having a big threat from cyber attacks. These cyber attacks sometimes converted in the form of cyber wars and become a cause of big monetary loss as well as socio-political disturbance. To minimize such type of drastic situations, the internet community needs to explore the proper means and their implementation in the real time environment.
This conference will provide an overview on how cyber attacks are evolved, classified and technologies developed to counter these threats. In addition a focus will be made to discuss how state-of-the-art technologies are exposed to cyber threats and preventive measures to be undertaken. 
With sharing the expertise and insight into a myriad of cyber security trends, tools and techniques, this conference will create an unparalleled opportunity for the national advancement of cyber threat analysis and enforcement. An effort has to be made to create a platform for exploring the mind bellowing ideas in the field of cyber defense, its social-economical framework, laws and audit.

CALL FOR PAPERS
Extended Abstract (300-400 words) of the paper highlighting salient features in camera ready form together with Registration Format duly filled in should reach the Organizing Secretary latest by 1st November, 2009. Full length paper is to be submitted on 7th November, 2009 at the Registration Desk.

Participation is open to Scientists, faculty members of AICTE approved institutions, Policy makers & Workers involved close to the themes of the conference.

VENUE
The Orissa Engineering College (OEC), first Private Engineering College established in 1986, Bhubaneswar is located about 14 Kms. from the temple city of Orissa, Bhubaneswar, an educationally and culturally rich in Eastern Orissa. The college is spread over a huge area of 51 acres of land on Bhubaneswar-Jatni road at a place called Nijigarh Kurki. The campus provides an excellent blend of tranquil atmosphere conducive for higher learning and enjoying nature’s beauty at its best.

WEATHER
Weather of Bhubaneswar in the month of November is pleasant with an average maximum temperature of 30°C and an average minimum temperature 25°C.

TRAVEL SUPPORT
The participants are expected to secure TA/DA from their respective organizations. However, efforts are being made to provide travel support to a limited number of participants on a request in exceptional cases.

ACCOMMODATION
Necessary accommodation for a few outstation participants will be arranged in the guest house on first come first served basis. However, delegates requiring hotel accommodation at Bhubaneswar city against payment may get in touch with the Organizing Secretary.

PROCEEDINGS
Efforts are being made to publish the proceedings of the conference in a reputed journal after peer review.
